Community Service Projects

We are asking for your support with, three community service projects Milam County 4H is doing.

  1. Ronald McDonald House - We collect coke tabs and snacks and take them to the Ronald McDonald House in Temple over spring break. There is a giant tab collection box on top of the mailboxes in the staff room and I have placed two small boxes on top of the microwaves in the cafeteria. Please help us collect tabs and support Ronald McDonald House.
  2. Book Collection - The National 4-H is doing a book campaign to encourage literacy. Please place any new or gently used books in the book box in the staff room. The great news about this project is all the books will be regenerated to facilities and children within Milam county!
  3. Operation Huggables - If you or someone you know have new or gently used stuffed animals they're trying to find new homes for, please let me know and I can take them off your hands for a good cause - Operation Huggables. This county project collects stuffed animals and gives them to local police stations, fire departments, and children's services to be used to comfort children in frightful situations.
