Dear Gause ISD Community, April 17, 2020

We have been doing “remote learning” for four weeks now. I realize that this is a stressful time for everyone (teachers, parents, guardians, students, etc.). When working on the learning packets, please do whatever you can. We just ask that our students continue to make some sort of forward progress on our learning objectives. If there are things you cannot do, or need help with, feel free to contact your teacher. Let them know how you are doing and what your needs are. In these new and uneasy times, we want you to know that we have compassion for all of our Gause ISD community. The most important thing right now is for everyone to STAY SAFE and HEALTHY!!!

School closing update: Governor Abbott just held a press conference....At 12:15pm today, he announced that schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year.

Reminder: No learning packets will be provided this week (you received two week’s worth of assignments last Thursday). The next learning packets can be picked up next week on Friday, April 24th from 9:00am until 1:00pm.

We are continuing to serve lunches Monday through Friday from 11:00am-noon.

If you need to order meals, you may call the school on Thursdays and Fridays at 979-279-5891. You may also email Nadine Morrison anytime at nmorrison@gauseisd.net.

Thank you for your support and cooperation as we work to ensure that all members of our Gause ISD Community stay safe and healthy.

Brad Jones

Gause ISD Superintendent
